Fellow pilots recognized Capt. Kenneth A. Walsh as one of the most aggressive and indomitable aces produced by the marines. With 21 aerial victories, he is one of the few American pilots to exceed 20 victories in aerial combat and he won the Congressional Medal of Honor. Walsh survived WWII and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. |
